Miru (Japanese for "to see") is a photo gallery built for photographers who care about privacy and ownership.

We believe your photos are personal. They shouldn't be mined for data, compressed without your consent, or locked into a proprietary platform. Miru gives you complete control over your photo library while providing modern features like social sharing through ActivityPub.

Built With

Miru is built with Elixir and Phoenix LiveView for a fast, reactive experience. We use libvips for image processing and support RAW files from major camera manufacturers.
